IEG Has Acquired Container Components, Inc.

CHICAGO (July 1, 2022) Impact Environmental Group (IEG) has acquired Container Components, Inc. (CCI) and Container Components Europe (CCE), including its DuraFlex® Brand of waste and recycling products. The DuraFlex® Lid was at the forefront of the industry migration from heavy steel Commercial Container Lids to plastic Commercial Container Lids. The CCI acquisition provides IEG with two additional North American manufacturing and distribution facilities in Jonesboro, Arkansas and Atlanta, Georgia.  IEG now has a complete offering of thermoformed, roto-molded and blow-molded Commercial Container Lids, along with additional metal fabrication capacity.

The acquisition of CCE provides IEG with further expansion into global markets and the second UK-based acquisition after acquiring Egbert Taylor in 2021.  Egbert Taylor Holdings is a leading provider of galvanized metal waste containers, refurbished waste containers, bin housings and associated parts & accessories. The Container Components acquisition marks IEG’s 8th acquisition since 2019.

The Impact Environmental Group began as Impact Plastics in 1999. From what started as an entrepreneurial business selling Commercial Container Lids has grown significantly into a global environmental products and services company.  The IEG companies include Impact, Roll-Tech, Midland Chutes, Northern Extrusion, United Compaction Services, Deroche Canvas, Container Components (US), UK-based Egbert Taylor and Container Components (Europe). IEG has quickly become a comprehensive waste solutions provider for Residential and Commercial Containers, Collection and Compaction Parts and Service along with Waste Transportation products.  IEG is headquartered in Elgin, Illinois with facilities located across the U.S and Europe.
